I'm really hoping to make a trip down to Texas soon to have more real life hangs [and finally meet Kelly!] with these awesome ladies, but for now I will keep double-tapping their IG photos and stalking their blog ;) go give them a follow + enjoy their Q+A!

1 // what inspires you in your daily life?
K Travel, kids, friends, strangers, conversations, observation, the weather, new experiences, watching movies, books, dancing, music, long drives, junk shopping, and hearing folks tell their story/journey.
B God's Grace, Music, Nature, and the people I surround myself with.

2 // what is your favorite part about living in Texas? least favorite part?
K I love HTX, the museums, parks, family, friends and food. Dear God, the food… My least favorite thing about Houston, Texas is the traffic and the lack of seasons. We get two. Sometime three out of four. Hard to say if I’m here for the long haul. I love being close to my family, but I also love soaking up new experiences and facing new challenges.
B My favorite part of living in Texas is my family, friends and FOOD! Omg we have the best food. All our friends are branching out and just going after their dreams and opening up businesses it's a really exciting time to be in Houston. I have no idea what the future holds, I'm just trusting that God will guide the way wherever that may be.

3 // you both are so creative and inspire me with what you do— as kids & growing up, were you both creative & did you work on projects together well?
I think we (humans) are all pretty creative in the beginning. The trick is holding on to that and gearing it towards something productive.
We come from a very creative family with a serious work ethic. Doctors, Musicians, business owners, teachers, dancers… you name it, we have someone in the family who does it. Watching the family go after what was important to them had a great impact on the way we chase after our own dreams.
Our Grandmother gave us piano and voice lessons (You better believe I only came home second soprano once). Our Aunt Sharon was always taking us out for some adventure or if we stayed in we were learning to make something. No matter what we were up to, we felt safe letting our imaginations run wild because we had a large family who embraced creativity.

4 // describe each other in 3 words!
K Brandi is open, ambitious, and optimistic.
B Kelly is loyal, determined, and a dreamer.

5 // how do you like your coffee?
K Cowboy style. Every now and then I’ll add some honey.
B Black and STRONG how Kelly likes her men...Jk

6 // I love the playlists on your blog, what have you been jammin' to lately?
K Thanks, y’all! Let’s see… uhhhh… Everything. John Prine, Old 97’s, Neil Young, Bright Eyes, Richard Thompson, Wilco, First Aid Kit, The War on Drugs, Bob Dylan, Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, Todd Snider, Dick Dale, The Ventures, Howlin’ Wolf, Kenny Rogers, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, 2 Chainz, and I’m in love with this song Alone Again Or by Calexico.
B Thanks! Kelly is responsible for most of them, she's always listening to something good. Lately Haim, Miley Cyrus ( What!), Taylor Swift (It's true), NEW FOO FIGHTERS!

7 // how did the Mucho Mucho Bueno Bueno blog start? which came first, the blog or the shop?
The shop came first. Originally it was Brandi selling vintage in the early 2000's while I was still in High School. When I graduated college, we started working towards what is now the Bueno Bueno brand.
We started playing around with our blog, Mucho Mucho Bueno Bueno, late 2009 after a trip to Paris, France. I had just moved back to Houston and for the first time in our ‘adult’ lives, we found ourselves living in the same town. We wanted a way to share our goofy adventures with family and friends and we’ve been exploring the blog/shop world ever since.

8 // where do you see the bueno shop going? would there ever be a physical, real-life shop in the future?
Eventually we will open a physical location, but not in the traditional sense. We’ve been working towards expanding our shop… and that’s all I’ll giveaway at the moment ;)

9 // I never got a sister and always wished I had one— what’s your favorite thing about having sisters and BEING a sister?
They know EVERYTHING about you, the good, the bad, the ugly and they will go through every journey with you. Automatic best friend and a bonus closet. Same goes for all siblings. Fight like hell with each other and for each other.

10 // if you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and where would you plant yourself?
K I don’t think I could ever be a tree. If I absolutely had to be a tree, I’d be one of Tolkien’s Ents, from Lord of The Rings. They’re pretty BA.
B Palm tree, on a beach in Costa Rica in a secret spot with consistent waves.

11 // what are three foods you would eat for the rest of your life if you were limited to only three?
K Ice cream, arugula, tacos.
B Tacos, Pizza, Jamocha Almond Fudge Ice Cream.

12 // what is one message you’d love to share with the world?
Never loose your childlike wonder.
Always love, always improve and always seek a new experience.

thank you K + B for being part of Follow Friday! hope to see you soon :)
